SOPHIE FERNANDES

This was published in Issue 2 November 2014. Writing this piece helped me gain experience and knowledge on how to write news briefs. I learned how to cut out my personal bias and opinion and to just report the facts. I had to become more comfortable with writing interview questions and with interviewing people my age. In order to get the shots I needed, I ended up following Teen Tech Team for an hour so that the viewer could get a clear idea of what the class is like.
